The EAES Consensus & Guideline Subcommittee is planning to launch a survey on awareness and use of clinical practice guidelines.
The aims of the survey are to:
- Investigate the level of uptake of EAES Guidelines and other clinical practice guidelines in surgery
- Explore the reasons behind poor uptake
- Explore the views of surgeons on how to improve the uptake of surgical guidelines, and
- Develop an action plan to improve the uptake of surgical guidelines
We aim to collect responses from representatives of as many European countries as possible. We therefore ask your cooperation by distributing the survey to the members of your society.
